My son and I ate here on a walk-by and thought that looks interesting. Fortunately, it was early (4:30), so they could take us before their 6:30 reservations. As I explained to our waiter, I have no heat tolerance, which is almost an allergy-like response. I tried his recommended dish; 1st, it was delicious. I did not want to take away from that, but it was spicy, and sweat dripped from me the whole meal. My son's chicken had one pepper rating, and he loved it, but he also talked about the extreme spiciness of it compared to other restaurants. Go, it is a great restaurant, but be aware it is a spicier place to eat; even with the nonspicy food, it's delicious

Really solid Hunan restaurant with classic dishes done well. We stopped by for dinner on a weekday and even though the place was busy we were able to walk in. We were also in a rush because we had a show to see in an hour and a half, so we asked for the food to be brought out quickly if possible and they did not disappoint. We were in an out in a little over an hour and even got dessert! No complaints about anything we got (mapo tofu, garlic sauce eggplant, husband and wife special, seafood fried rice, dandan noodles, spiced chicken, and bang bang chicken). Their desserts, however, are nothing special so would recommend that you skip.

This place in NYC is awesome, a truly great experience, beautiful decor, sexy interior and prime time service before going to see a play down the street. The speakeasy vibe really makes it a cool atmosphere, the upstairs area feels exclusive and homey, the private dining is also a great thing to have here. The menu is extensive, the drinks are special, the service was friendly and prompt, and I loved my time here. Would definitely return and I highly recommend!
